FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

Q- Is there a minimum age to rent from us?
A- Anyone over the age of 18 can rent from us as long as they have a credit card and sign a waiver. If you’re under 18 a parent or guardian must rent the equipment and sign the waiver.
 
What are items recommended to bring for kayaking?
Items we recommend are water, a bathing suit or something you don’t mind getting wet, a towel, water shoes, sun screen, and a change of clothes is always a good idea. Keep in mind that sunglasses, hats and jewelry could possibly get lost. 
 
Q- What is your Cancellation Policy?
A- You will not be charged for reservations canceled more than one week prior to delivery or pickup.  If your reservation is canceled any time after this, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% rental fees for the reservation. If we feel that the weather and conditions are unsafe, we will cancel your reservation and you will NOT be charged a cancellation fee.
Q- Are Dogs allowed on kayaks?
A- Yes we do allow dogs but keep in mind if your dog has never been on a kayak before you may find yourself fighting to keep them onboard.
Q- If I decide that I don’t like what I have rented, am I able to shorten my rental period? 
A- You are able to return the equipment whenever you would like to, but we will not refund the time that you did not use.
Q- We have decided to stay longer, can we keep the items longer than we originally ordered them for?

A- Please call us if you decide you require the use of the items longer than expected. Some of the items may be booked, but if not, we would be happy to let you rent for a few extra days!
Q- Should we lock our equipment? 
A- We ask that you please lock all of your bikes and other equipment at all times when they are not in use. You are responsible for lost or stolen property. A minimum charge of $75 will be applied for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Vacayzen reserves the right to apply additional charges incurred in recovering our equipment.
Q- Can the bikes go on the beach? 
A- We ask that our customers keep the bikes off the beach due to Naples City not allowing bikes on the beach.
Q- Can I pick up my items?
A- Yes! You can pick up most bike and beach rentals at our storefront. We do allow guests to pick up kayaks and paddleboards if they have a truck or a rack system on their vehicle.
Q- What happens if an item is lost or stolen when I am renting it?
A- You will be charged for the item that was lost or stolen.
Q- Can someone else use the equipment that I have rented?
A- No, only the person or group that have entered a contract with us and have signed the waiver are able to use the equipment.

Take to the streets! Grab an eScooter or an eBike. Explore downtown Naples from 5th avenue to 3rd Street south, the Design and Art district or park at many of the available bike racks along the beaches. Stop at one of Naples’ fine restaurants for a refreshment, breakfast, lunch or an early dinner. Meander your way through the streets and find all points of interest and history in Olde Naples using our detailed scenic map. Or take a break at the soon to be rebuilt Naples Pier.

We provide all the equipment necessary for adventures in the wild from Kayaks to snorkeling gear. To self guided excursions around Olde Naples on eBikes and escooters. 

We’re a local family business sharing the experience that we’ve been enjoying for a long time. So leave the car parked and saddle up on an escooter or an ebike and enjoy everything Naples has to offer up close and personal.

We’ll set you up on the beach or outfit you with a kayak, escooter or ebike for a day or a few hours, then breath in all the Paradise Coast has to offer.

From Wiggin’s pass, to Clam Pass, to the lovely beaches of Naples and all the way out to Shell Island, Capri Park and Caxambas Park on Marco Island.
